Internet access

I have a Dell 1501 laptop computer connected to a netgear wireless router. The problem is I am unable to get on the internet. All the connections on the system tray at the botom of the screen say's, good connection and strong signal . So I don't undersatnd why I view internet pages. I was able to get the internet Monday and now I can't. I also checked into the connection and did a repair, that did not work as well. My router is only 2 1/2 -3 months old. Could you please help me!!!!

I have two computers running off the same wireless unit. Sometimes the second computer will not let me access the internet and the other one is fine

internet access

My home pc is generally running fine. All of a sudden I have no internet access. Other computers on my home network connect fine. I have changed the internet card and replaced the cable modem, connected it directly to the modem. But nothin! Any ideas?

Internet access

Recently installed sky broadband and all but one laptop accesses without problem. Laptop says its connected but when I try Explorer it gives me the option to work offline. Alo File/Edit/tools etc bar is not there.

internet access

I own 2 houses side by side. I buried a 6 pair phone cable between them. I have high speed internet access thru the phone company. I am only able to run one modem at a time. Can not run 1 at each house at same time. I have a wireless router at 1 house. Would it be posible to use the unused wires on the buried phone cable to hook up to the wireless router at one end and the to the ethernet port on a computer at the other house? The lynksis wireless router has 4 net working ports and I am only using one.

Answer I actually believe you can! I'm not a great wiring guy but I would say yes. You should call a local wiring guy and ask. Also the wireless router typically only works with a broadband connection. I have seen a dialup modem that will share over ethernet that can plug into the wireless router. I'll wait to hear from you if you need help with that.

Internet Access

My old computer boots up ok, but when I try to access the internet, it tells me it can't find the server. Also I can't do a system restore, but I'm able to play games and navigate around on the system. How can I fix this?
