external hardrive

Enter Your QuestionI have a external hard drive that I use for my church and I use my laptop to import the files and work adobe premere pro. how ever when I open the same file at home on my desk top pc with the same program the information will not load in program. Note It is a G drive on the laptop and a differnt letter Drive on the desk top. Any sugestions?
